About Me

”Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly. It’s your masterpiece after all.”

After just over nine years abroad, in the USA and the Netherlands, we moved back to Sweden in 2024. From an apartment in the big city of Rotterdam to an older house on an island – to breathe a little more freely, slow down, live closer to nature and have the opportunity to prioritize differently. At the same time, both my husband and I fulfilled an old dream of becoming part-time firefighters and being able to contribute locally to society.

My own journey has taken me from large companies such as IBM and Swedbank to the nursing profession and on to the world of yoga. Working with people has followed me throughout my professional life – in different roles and environments.

It was only during the years in the USA, when I trained as a yoga teacher and started teaching, that I felt that I was deeply helping people feel better – both physically and mentally.

During the pandemic, I furthered my education as a yoga therapist to be able to more clearly combine my medical background with a holistic view of health and wellbeing. Today, I work with individuals and groups – locally, digitally and internationally.

I believe in booking fewer things, but doing them properly. It's not about doing as little as possible, but about doing the right things with full presence, working sustainably - for both me and those I meet.

My driving force is to help people find home in their bodies, and to feel good in everyday life, for real. Not through quick solutions or performance, but with honesty, curiosity, tools and methods that work in everyday life.

HOW YOGA HAS CHANGED ME (this far)

  • More relaxed and easygoing
  • Less angry
  • Less stressed
  • Knee pain reduced almost to zero
  • More flexible and agile
  • Less tolerant for bullshit
  • More laughter
  • Changed the way I look on life (big & small)
  • More inner calm
  • Better at enjoying and appreciating the ’little things’
  • Caring less about what other people might think
  • More patient (with both myself and others)
  • Every day without pain is a good day

And perhaps most importantly:

I have started to trust my own compass more.

Life is too short to run in someone else's rut.

It is okay to change direction, pace and goals – even in the middle of life.
That it is often the gut, not the world, that knows what is right.
